ITA: In 10 words or less, what problem does Vibes Media solve for your clients?

ITA: What motivated you to join Vibes? What is the origin of the name?
DG: Our people, our products and our legacy of profitable growth --- Mobile marketing and advertising will be one of the largest growth segments over the next five years. Vibes Media's strong foundation will enable us to continue to be the leader through a tremendous period of innovation and growth.
Vibes Media was originated by our founders 11 years ago this August. The name has become synonymous with mobile marketing within the category.

ITA: How does Vibes differentiate from its competitors?
DG: Quality, Innovation and Results --- As one of the nation’s premier experts on mobile marketing, Vibes Media helped pioneer the space early on with the invention of products such as Text-2-Screen, Text-2-Win and iRadio. Today, Vibes Media continues to set the industry standard for best practices and offers a wide range of Mobile Messaging, Mobile Web and Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) solutions that help clients see a positive ROI on their way to achieving significant business results.
Vibes Media is recognized by the Common Short Code Association as a Tier 1 aggregator, and is the second largest licensor of short codes in the United States. Vibes Media has delivered more than 50,000 mobile campaigns and generated upwards of 500 million messages. Through the years Vibes Media has been recognized for many awards focused on innovation and growth.

ITA: What type of clients provide Vibes’ prime source of income?
DG: Vibes has one of the broadest customer and partnership networks in the industry. Our market focus is on Marketer’s (Wireless Carriers, Consumer Brands and Agency’s) and Publishers. ITA: As the mobile marketing sector becomes more crowded and complex, what new paradigms are emerging that will jump-start the next evolution of the business?
DG: Smartphone adoption, mobile communication growth and the increase of time spent within the mobile environment will continue to draw marketers and publishers to focus time and resources engaging their audience’s. Exceeding our client’s and partner’s expectations through our unique combination of solutions (industry leading platform) and service (mobile expertise) is how we plan to win.

ITA: What are the biggest challenges you face as an Illinois-based IT company?
DG: We are proud to be located in Chicago and don’t feel it presents any significant or unusual challenges to becoming the country’s largest mobile marketing firm. Our clients and partners come from all over the US to visit as we visit them in their hometowns.

ITA: You develop mobile platforms, even specific platforms, for your clients?
DG: Our core Catapult platform provides the engine that serves our marketer and publisher client base. The platform enables a wide variety of SMS (text) or MMS (multi-media) messaging as a marketing and communication vehicle. Mobile messaging is the most frequently used data application in the world, and marketing programs that leverage it effectively often generate a very high response rate.
