Vibes Included as a Vendor in Three Mobile Categories
Independent Research Firm Claims Mobile Is the Core of Customer Engagement in Its Mobile Marketing Report
CHICAGO (March 14, 2016) – A new report from Forrester Research, Inc. released today includes Vibes, a mobile marketing leader, as a vendor in three mobile marketing technology categories: Mobile Engagement Automation, Mobile Messaging and Messaging Aggregators. Vibes believes the report, which examines 12 important technologies in mobile marketing and commerce, is one of the most comprehensive assessments of mobile technologies produced to date.
The March 2016 report, “TechRadar™: Mobile Marketing, Q1 2016,” claims mobile has moved beyond its designation as a channel to a full-blown catalyst for digital business transformation. According to the report, mobile is now at the core of customer engagement for B2C marketers, with 94 percent of U.S. consumers owning smartphones and spending two hours per day browsing the mobile Web or interacting with their apps.
This activity collectively generates 30 billion mobile moments each day in the U.S. The report notes technology to effectively engage in these moments is critical and asserts delivering in these mobile moments is an imperative for brands, not an option.
“I believe that being included in three mobile marketing technology categories demonstrates the scope and scale of our platform and mobile expertise,” said Jack Philbin, co-founder and CEO of Vibes. “By keeping a constant pulse on evolving consumer expectations and offering a holistic mobile marketing automation platform, Vibes enables brands to power effective engagement in mobile moments.”
Vibes believes that the report demonstrates the following highlights:
- Mobile marketing ROI. The TechRadar notes that Vibes reported that its clients “receive substantial ROI from revenue generated by using messaging to drive consumers to make purchases.”
- A robust platform. Messaging aggregators like Vibes have “built value-add services or applications on top of their messaging platforms that drive more significant success.”
- Best-in-class engagement in mobile moments. Vibes and other vendors are cited for building “innovative solutions to help enterprises better engage consumers in their owned mobile moments and are best-in-class in this category.”
According the report, mobile vendors are learning how to innovate with mobile faster than most enterprises. As a result, Forrester Research, Inc. expects B2C marketers to rely more on mobile vendors’ capabilities, product features or professional services to improve their strategies rapidly.
“Mobile vendors are becoming a crucial element to enterprise solutions,” added Philbin. “In the last year, Vibes has unveiled a number of integrations with enterprise marketing cloud leaders like Adobe and IBM, with more partnerships in the pipeline.”
